Material: Made of premium ceramic by high temperature firing.  It's environmental and safe, non-toxic.
Easy to Wash: Just clean and wipe with a soft cloth and the water can be with a mild detergent. 
Special note:   This is NOT a kettle.  It is a POT.  Do not put it on a heating element.
